The papers of Parke Atherton Dickey (petroleum geologist, University of Tulsa professor from 1961-1975) consist of 37 autograph, typescript, and carbon typescript letters between Dickey and colleagues between 1957 and 1971; a bibliography of works; and autograph and typescript drafts of his writings which include: "The First Oil Well" and "One Hundred Years of Oil Geology", and the proposed illustrations for each. Also included is an interview in Spanish between Fernando Guerrero Matheus and Dickey and various research and reference materials including photographs, blueprints, graphs and charts.
